There are a lot of awesome things about family life on the mission field as well as challenges. Amidst what seems like chaos at times of being a family in ministry, homeschooling, culture, and language learning, we regularly pray for a strong marriage, a loving household, physical health, and wisdom for parenting. 

Pray with us that we will effectively shine the light of the gospel in in our neighborhood. We've been developing relationships with those living around us and almost everyone knows that we are missionaries. We pray that they will see Christ in us by the way we live and that our testimony will be faultless.   

Deeply held animistic beliefs with some Catholicism mixed in has long held the people in the region in bondage. Evangelical ministry has faced many spiritual battles and much opposition, but God has also called many out of darkness into His marvelous light! Pray that the indigenous church will continue to grow in maturity and will remain strong in the midst of a hostile environment. 

A lot goes into an aviation ministry. Each flight requires a large amount of planning, communication, coordinating and a seemingly endless list of other details. Safety while flying is always a primary prayer request. Before every flight, we pray with our passengers that God would grant us safety, good decision-making, and the good judgment necessary for that particular flight. 

We attend a local church that has been a tremendous blessing to us. They have an awesome OANSA (AWANAs) ministry for children and are also deeply involved with ministry among the Huichol people group that we serve in the Sierras. Pray for continued spiritual health and effective ministry in the community.
